Who are you when life is steady? Who are you when storms come? Most of us have been on the receiving end of rejection, a broken dream, or heartbreak. And while this is not an easy space to go through, when we are grounded in the truth, we can endure the tough times.  Your Circumstances do not Define You; Your Identity Does.
What do you do when life takes an unplanned detour? When the unexpected happens? When doubt or negativity tries to rise above your faith? Most of us can relate to these questions.  We want you to be encouraged that you also can tackle fear, overcome bitterness, and take on the obstacles life throws at you.  All men are welcome!  Sign up now at the Welcome Center or by calling (304) 342-6052.

YouAreFreeBannerYOU ARE FREE–For Women Starting September 10th at 6 p.m.

Do you remember a moment you felt completely free? As children, we would pedal our bikes & spread our arms wide, while we lingered outside until the sun started to slip from the sky.  Somewhere along the way, our zeal was trampled out by the weight of responsibilities and the hamster wheel of keeping up. But, we weren’t made to keep up. We were made to be free. To be who we already are.
You are invited to overcome the exhaustion of meeting others’ expections & rest in the joy of God’s freedom.
To release stress & anxiety to uncover the peace that comes from abiding in God’s presence.
To throw off self-condemnation & masks of perfection, & step bolding into God’s purpose for you.
To discover the courage to begin again & use your newfound freedom to set others free.
All ladies are welcome to join us! Sign up now!

When God notebookWHEN GOD DOESN’T FIX IT–New Small Goup Open to All Starting Sunday, Sept. 17th, at 6 p.m. Books are optional.

Worship Leader & recording artist, Laura Story’s life took an  unexpected turn when her husband, Martin, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. But the devastating news was that no cure existed to restore Martin’s short-term memory, eyesight, and other complications.  The fairy-tale life Laura had dreamed of was no longer possible. Yet her struggles to accept her new situation also brought her deeper joy and  intimacy with God as she allowed Him to rewrite her story.

Laura examines the twists & turns that took place not only in her own life, but also in the lives of many of the heroes of the faith. She reveals how God used crises in the lives of people such as Abraham, Sarah, David, and Paul to bring them closer to Him and set them on the path He wanted them to take. She also shows how God used each of them  in spite of their flaws and brokenness.

God may not fix everything in our lives. In fact, our situation might not ever change or get better. But, we can know that God will lead us to a place where we are better because of it.
