On Friday, June 7th, we will have our annual program and party. A rock climbing wall and a Jupiter Jump castle have been ordered for the party.

Hi there! This is Eliott Borris, from Elk River Nazarene Church. I am excited to share with you that in the coming months Elk River will be starting a new ministry focused on us! This ministry is designed for college and young adults between the ages of 18-25. This will not be your typical youth department/bible study. One month we may grab ice-cream, and the next we may watch a movie.  The purpose is to bring together our generation and invite Christ to be the center of our lives.

The ministry is named The Well. During our first few meetings I will explain the name and the meaning behind it, as well as upcoming events that you won’t want to miss (Passion 2012).  For now, you can visit our website, www.atthewell.org for information.

Our first event will be the first Friday of November, November 2nd.  We’ll have abonfire and enjoy one of the last nice-weathered weekends of the year. Plan to be at Elk River Nazarene Church @7:00pm. Come hungry, we will have food!

Our nation is facing more difficult days than ever before. Our world is as unsettled as it has ever been in many decades.  God is in control, we need His wisdom and should seek His direction.

God calls us to pray for our leaders, those in authority, and so on Monday, November 5, we are asking you to seek His face and do so in prayer and fasting.

FAST YOUR DINNER

We need God in our nation, we need God in all aspects of our life and we need Him to guide us in all we do, including our responsibility to vote.  This is not about party or candidate, but about the future and direction of our country – “God, what would you have me do?”  God says to do all things as unto Him. Let us pray and fast and seek His wisdom for one of the most important votes of our lives.”
